In a couple of weeks it will be out with the National Hunt racing and in with the Flat season Proper. For me this brings major sadness, as you may well know, I'm probably not the biggest flat racing lover en el mundo. I am however, looking forward to the eagerly anticipated return of a flat horse called Frankel (you might know him! ;)) who runs at Newbury on Saturday. I watch few flat races per annum but Frankel was one of the horses that caught mine and the rest of the racing public's eyes last year. Now, I'd love to say that I knew everything about the race and know all the form of the other horses that are taking him on, but I don't so I'm not going to. All I know is that I want him to win! He was an absolute monster last year and let's hope he'll continue his unbeaten record this season. Let's face it though, he'll probably go to stud at the end of the year anyway.
