Round 14; remaining Friday matches.

I'm thinking of some new ideas that I can introduce to my blog in the next few weeks. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to comment on here, or tweet me! I appreciate all your comments and take all opinions into account!

It could be a horror night on Friday the 13th for any one of these teams! Let's hope it's not yours!

Leeds Rhinos v Catalans Dragons;
Venue: Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Leeds
KO; 20:00
Referee: R Hicks

Teams:
Leeds (17 from): Smith, Delaney, Senior, Hall, Burrow, Leuluai, Buderus, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Sinfield, Lauitiiti, Bailey, Kirke, Burgess, Hauraki, Pitts, McShane, Hardaker.
Catalans (17 from): Blanch, Sa, Stacul, Bosc, Ferriol, Henderson, Raguin, Mounis, Gigot, Baile, Barthau, Vaccari, Simon, Martins, Fakir, Baitieri, Pelissier, Pala, Touxagas.

Both sides had a difficult time in their CC matches last weekend and it wasn't a walkover for either of them, but they both progressed to the fifth round which is the main thing. However, Leeds lost 3 interchanges through injury and those three (Danny McGuire, Brent Webb and Chris Clarkson) will all be out of this game.

Leeds will welcome back forwards Ryan Bailey, Jamie Jones Buchanan and Ali Lauitiiti (if that's how you spell his name?!). They have also recalled wonder boy Zak Hardaker and Weller Hauraki for the match.

Catalans are without a whopping nine players; the latest three to get injured are: Ben Farrar, Remi Casty and Scott Dereau who join Steve Menzies, Daryl Millard, Clint Greenshields, Vincent Duport, Cyrille Gossard and Lopini Paea on the injury list. They are set to welcome back  Setaimata Sa after injury and have also added two youngsters - Mathias Pala and William Barthau - to their 19 man squad.

I think the outcome of this game will be down to who copes best with their "new look" teams. It really could go either way. I reckon Leeds will do it.

Wigan Warriors v Harlequins RL;
Venue: DW Stadium, Wigan
KO: 20:00
Referee: J Child

Teams:
Wigan (from): S Tomkins, Carmont, Richards, Deacon, Leuluai, McIlorum, Coley, J Tomkins, O'Loughlin, Prescott, Lima, Hoffman, Finch, Farrell, Tuson, Charnley, Hughes.
Harlequins (from): Ambler, Bailey, Bolger, Burnett, Calderwood, Clubb, Ellis, Gale, Koupartisas, Krasniqi, Melling, Mitchell, O'Callaghan, Pryce, Randall, Temata, Ward, Wilkes, Williams.

Neither of these two sides conceded a single point in their extremely one side Challenge Cup matches last weekend.

Wigan have made one change from the side that comprehensively thrashed Barrow last weekend; that change is the return of Lee Mossop who missed the game last weekend through injury, it is thought to be in the place of debutant Jack Hughes.

Harlequins have brought Chris Bailey back into their squad after missing the last three matches with a foot injury. Karl Pryce will play against his parent club after being granted permission to do so. Olsi Krasniqi and Ben Bolger are set to retain their places from last week.

Harlequins won the same fixture last year but it will take a lot more to do so this year, especially as they have only gained one point from their last eight matches. I'll go for the Wigan win!

Salford City Reds v Hull FC;
Venue: The Willows, Salford
KO: 20:00
Referee: B Thaler

Teams;
Salford (17 from): Patten, Broughton, Nero, Jewitt, Clay, Ratchford, Holdsworth, Cashmere, Godwin, Boyle, Neal, L Adamson, Anderson, Smith, Sneyd, Gibson, Sidlow, Paleaaesina, Wild.
Hull (17 from): T Briscoe, Dowes, Fitzgibbon, Gleeson, Horne, Houghton, Lauaki, Manu, Moa, Obst, O'Meley, Phelps, Radford, Sharp, Tickle, Turner, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.
Salford welcome Stephen Wild and Adam Sidlow to the team who beat Hunslet in the Challenge Cup last weekend. They are still without their injured winger Mark Henry but his replacement, Adam Clay, is impressing after scoring four tries in two games.
Kirk Yeaman, Joe Westerman, Craig Fitzgibbon, Danny Tickle and Mark O'Meley all return for the Black and Whites after sitting out their thrashing of Oldham last week with slight knocks. Hull are unbeaten in four games and are looking to continue that run in this match.
I'll go for Hull to stretch their unbeaten run to five games.

Crusaders RL v Wakefield Trinity Wildcats;
Venue: The Racecourse ground, Wrexham
KO: 20:00
Referee: P Bentham

Teams:
Crusaders (17 from): Schifcofske, Thomas, Mellars, Reardon, Witt, Sammut, O'Hara, Bryant, Cahill, Winternstein, Peek, Flower, Hanbury, Kear, White, Dudson, Moore, Lupton, Tansey.
Wakefield (from): Blaymire, Murphy, Korkidas, Rinaldi, King, Henderson, Morrison, Lee, Smith, Johnson, Dean, Morton, Mariano, Howarth, Veivers, Higgins, Hyde, Griffin, Amor.

Crusaders are the only Super League team not in the Challenge Cup 5th round after losing, rather dramatically, to Leeds last week. Hep Cahill was cleared after being sent off last week for kicking Rob Burrow, sending off was sufficient. Jordan Tansey is set to return for the Welsh outfit after missing the game last weekend through being cup tied. Elliot Kear should also keep his place after an impressive performance last week.

Wakefield are set to give Jeremy Smith his second start after some impressive performances in reserve games. Matt Blaymire, Paul Johnson and Julien Rinaldi will return after being rested last week; Liam Higgins will also return for the match as he missed last weekend's game because he was illegible. They are without Luke George who has a hip injury.

If I am totally honest, I don't know, nor care who wins this match!
